The Mission:

(just a after note, N.S. stands for non stripe, and S for Stripe, figured everyone would figure it out but there are those who haven't been yelling STRIPE? At unknowns all day)

Blackhawk arrived at RV at 0730 hours to pick Stray and his gear up. After an hours flight The Ragtags arrived at the LZ. They proceeded to the local N.S.L.F.U. G.H.Q. and prepared their gear for deployment.


The first objective set by the N.S.L.F.U. was to take a building known as the “canteen building” which was been occupied by an elite S.L.F.U. unit. Heavily out numbered the S.L.F.U. where soon wiped out leaving the majority of casualties been taken by friendly fire incidents from N.S.L.F.U.s poorly trained conscripts. At this point The Ragtag’s unit received new orders from Ragtag high command. Eleventh hour evidence had revealed that it was the N.S.L.F.U. that had committed the war crimes previously attributed to S.L.F.U. The Ragtags in field were ordered to swiftly and stealthy exit the building and meet up with the S.L.F.U. commanding officer.


The Ragtags quickly established a coalition with local S.L.F.U. officers and proceed to help them storm the canteen building. Unfortunately The N.S. forces were dug in and prepared for a counter attack. After an hour of bitter fighting reinforcements arrived for both L.F.U. factions and fighting spread from the canteen building to all buildings in the area.


Around 1230 hours there was a quiet down in the fighting and The Ragtags made a daring raid into the S.L. G.H.Q. to get their supplies left on arrival and rearmed themselves.


At 1310 the fighting broke out again and spread further into the region with the arrival of light vehicles on both sides onto the battlefield. Pocket fighting, ambushes and strafing runs by vehicle gunner were the order of the day. Despite multiple separations during this time the Ragtag operatives in the area were able to continue to work as a team via the radio finally rallying to hold the police station against a N.S. siege. After about an hour of holding the building, and after almost total casualties of the S.L.F.U. forces working with the Ragtags reinforcements arrived. There was an unfortunate incident in which Stray and Roth shot and killed a female S.L.F.U. soldier who entered the building without identifying herself. The will be a investigation into the death however on scene S.L.F.U. officers supported Stray and Roth in that there was no way they could have known there were reinforcements outside and it was a tragic accident.


Vital documents were recovered from the police station and coalition forces pulled out just as N.S. vehicles and massive amounts of infantry assaulted the area. Roth, Stray and Jason became separated in the lighting withdrawal from the area. After becoming separated from each other and fighting gorilla actions while caught behind the N.S. advance the Ragtags were able to rally in a bunker building. At this point Roth was caught in the head by a ricocheting bullet; by some miracle it did not kill him however he received a serious wound to the head. Stray and Jason fought there way back to the EVAC point with Roth in toe. After applying first aid and calling the EVAC Stray returned to the field with a camera to gain vital Intel on the enemy and area. Returning to the EVAC Stray, Roth and Jason were picked up by the blackhawk at 1700 hours and flown back to base for debriefing and tea and biscuits.
